044 - Exploring Scripture - Your Story

In the first episode of the Exploring Scripture study, Phil and Erin discuss the importance of knowing our own lens, or story, as we approach the story of Scripture. Engaging Scripture is a spiritual discipline that will challenge us, encourage us, and is bound to turn things upside down. When we approach it with humility, an openness to being changed, and an awareness of the ways our own story impacts the way we receive it, we accept God's invitation for our story to be caught up in the story of redemption shared in Scripture.
